South of France Pilgrimage with Sensei
Just after the Womb Karma Transcendence Retreat in the UK, we will join Catherine Pawasarat Sensei for an unforgettable week-long pilgrimage through the sacred landscape of southern France, tracing the path of Mary Magdalene from the shores where she is said to have landed to the mountain cave where she spent her final years in contemplation.
We begin at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, walking the beach at dawn and venerating Sara-la-Kâli, the beloved Black Madonna. From there, the path winds through Marseille's ancient sacred sites, on to the Gothic basilica of Sainte-Maximin and Mary Magdalene's relics, and finally up to La Grotte de la Sainte-Baume — the cave where she is said to have lived for thirty years.
